Golden Technology Resources

About GTR

We sit on the same side of the table as the founder.

Golden Technology Resources was built by California operators and former surveyors who got tired of watching good founders get sold a binder and left alone. We carry the file ourselves — through approval, survey, and the day after.

Our story

We built the firm we wished we'd had.

Golden Technology Resources started the way most of our clients start — inside the work. We were operators and compliance leaders in California healthcare before we were consultants, and we learned the licensing and accreditation maze the hard way: by living in it.

We built GTR because we kept watching good founders get the same bad deal. A consultant would sell them a generic binder, collect a fee, and vanish the moment the state asked a hard question. The founder was left holding an incomplete file and a clock that wouldn't stop.

So we built the opposite. We sit on the same side of the table as the founder, carry the file ourselves, and stay through survey day and beyond. We work one state, three verticals, and we go deep — because in this work, depth is the difference between approved and returned.

Los Angeles — one state, worked deeply.

How we work

Four commitments we don't compromise on.

Not slogans — the operating rules that decide whether your file gets approved and whether you can run it after we leave.

01

Done with you, not to you

We work inside your business and train your team, so you own the capability after we're gone — not a dependency on us.

02

Honest about timelines

We won't promise a license in a number of weeks we can't control. We tell you what's realistic and what actually moves the file.

03

Compliance as a system

We don't hand you a binder. We build the operating rhythm that keeps you ready for the survey you didn't know was coming.

04

California-specific

We work one state, deeply. DHCS, CDPH, CDSS, and the LA market are what we do every day — not a page in a national playbook.

The people

Operators and former surveyors — credentialed, not anonymous.

The people who build your file are the people who carry it. RNs, licensed clinicians, and a former Joint Commission surveyor who knows exactly what survey day looks like — because he ran it.

Dana Whitfield

RN, BSN

Managing Partner

Twenty years in California home health, from field nurse to agency administrator. Dana leads licensing and clinical program design, and has assembled application files that cleared review on the first cycle.

Marcus Okafor

Former TJC Surveyor

Director of Accreditation

Spent six years surveying behavioral-health and home-care organizations before joining GTR. Marcus runs our mock surveys — he knows exactly what the real surveyor is looking for, because he was the real surveyor.

Elena Reyes

LCSW

Director of Behavioral Health

A licensed clinician who has built and directed IOP and outpatient programs across Los Angeles County. Elena designs clinical programs that satisfy accreditors and payers without losing the plot on patient care.

We operate, not just advise.

Members of our team have built and run licensed facilities in California — which means we prepare you for the survey, the payer audit, and the 2 a.m. operational reality, because we've stood where you're standing.
